The pressure to "gain" in matters of education, wealth, fame etc. has steadily mounted in a tectonic collision-like pattern, that steadily goes up , like the rocky mountains that aquire 1" in height every 2 yrs or so, due to crust pushing it towards the sky......So, I think humans are hard wired to do what they have been doing and what they might do in future. I am just lost here in the conundrum...........
